PIPER IS ONE YEAR OLD

Please give me a second as I am bawling my eyes out over here. How in the world did a year go by this quickly!?

WEIGHT

Piper weights 21.9 pounds and is in the 80th percentile for her weight.

HEIGHT

Piper is 31 inches and is in the 97th percentile for height still. She’s one tall baby girl.

HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE

I’m not sure how much this is of interest to any readers, but her head circumference is 18.3 inches and that is considered the 86th percentile.

SOME OF HER FAVORITES

Although Piper’s always been a mama’s girl, she is becoming more of a daddy’s girl by reaching for him and wanting his attention. Piper loves taking big girl baths with a minimum of one-hundred toys. Loves her organic squeeze food pouches, puffs, and teething crackers.

KICK KICK KICK

Piper started her first swimming lessons and is loving it.

CHATTING

This may be repetitive to the prior month’s blog, but she is chatting away with words like: yeah, mama, dada, dog, doggie, moo “mmm”, and “meow.”

SLEEPING

Piper still has a difficult time sleeping other places, but continues to be a champ when she’s home! She is still taking two naps a day (and needs those naps). And she is down to waking up only once during the night! I love picking up a well rested baby and cuddling her – if only she could stop growing so quickly. P.S. For about a month, she was pinning herself sideways in her crib, knocking her head on the wood, and fussing. Poor, silly thing.
